Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms set out the rights, obligations and responsibilities of Sprout Grow Labs (CEO: Kim Eunhee, the "Company") and its users in relation to the habit-management service "Mallang (Malangchedule)" (the "Service").

Article 2 (Definitions)

  1. "Service" means every feature the Company provides through its app and website, including routine tracking, the focus timer, connections with friends and family, guestbooks, and character and theme styling.
  2. "Account" means the right of use created through Kakao, Apple or Google social sign-in, or as a guest (by entering a name).
  3. "Guest account" means an account stored on the device without social sign-in. Data may be lost if the device is changed or the app is deleted.
  4. "Connection" means users mutually opening their homes to each other as a couple, friends or family through an invite code.
  5. "User content" means all content a user writes or uploads to the Service, including guestbook notes, replies, proof photos and names.

Article 3 (Effect and amendment)

  1. These Terms take effect when posted within the Service or otherwise announced.
  2. The Company may amend these Terms within the bounds of applicable law, announcing any change in the app at least 7 days before it takes effect (30 days for changes unfavourable to users).
  3. Continuing to use the Service after an amendment takes effect is treated as acceptance. If you do not accept it, you may stop using the Service and delete your account.

Article 4 (Accounts)

  1. You may start using the Service with social sign-in or as a guest. Guests are users too and are bound by these Terms.
  2. Guest data is kept on the device. The Company provides a way to convert (link) a guest account to a social account. The Company is not responsible for data lost before that conversion.
  3. Your name (nickname) is shown on friends' homes and guestbooks. Names that impersonate others or cause offence may be subject to a change request or restriction without prior notice.
  4. Children under 14 may use the Service only with the consent of a legal guardian.

Article 5 (What the service provides)

  1. The Company currently provides every feature free of charge, including all five characters and all nine themes. Some items unlock on meeting a condition (for example, finishing every routine that day).
  2. Invite codes are valid for 24 hours after issue; reissuing one invalidates the previous code immediately. Couple codes expire after a single use.
  3. Health app integration (automatic tracking) works only with your separate permission, which you can withdraw at any time in your device settings.
  4. Notifications (routines, guestbook, friend news, daily words) can be turned on and off individually in the app's settings. Offers and event notifications are sent only with separate consent.

Article 6 (User content)

  1. Copyright in user content belongs to the user who created it.
  2. You grant the Company a non-exclusive right to store, reproduce and display your content to the extent needed to operate, improve and promote the Service, including displaying it to people you are connected with.
  3. Guestbook notes and replies can be deleted by their author and by the owner of that home. Proof photos are shown only to the audience you selected.

Article 7 (Prohibited conduct)

You must not:

Article 8 (Reporting and restrictions)

  1. You can report inappropriate content or users through the in-app reporting feature.
  2. The Company reviews reports without delay and, where a violation is confirmed, may delete content, restrict features or suspend the account.
  3. The Company notifies the user of the reason for any action, and the user may appeal.

Article 9 (Intellectual property)

Intellectual property in the Service and in the characters it contains (Mallangi, Mungi, Kuruki, Bangul and Dot Mallangi), its design and its software belongs to the Company. You may not reproduce, distribute or create derivative works from them without the Company's prior written consent.

Article 10 (Changes and discontinuation)

  1. The Company may change all or part of the Service where operationally or technically necessary.
  2. If the Service is discontinued, the Company will give at least 30 days' notice and will endeavour to provide a way for users to export their data.

Article 11 (Paid services)

The Service is currently free. If paid items (seasonal themes, stickers and the like) are introduced, payment and refund terms will be announced in advance and will follow applicable law (the Korean Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, the Content Industry Promotion Act, and each app store's policies).

Article 12 (Limitation of liability)

  1. The Service is a tool for building habits and does not provide professional medical or health advice.
  2. The Company is not liable for interruptions caused by force majeure such as natural disasters or network failures.
  3. Disputes arising between connected users (couple, friend or family) are to be resolved between those users; the Company provides reasonable support such as handling reports.

Article 13 (Termination and account deletion)

  1. You may terminate this agreement at any time through [My → Delete account] in the app.
  2. On deletion, your routine records, streaks, guestbook and connections are deleted and cannot be restored. Notes you left on other users' homes may remain, anonymised as "deleted user".
  3. Destruction of personal data follows the Privacy Policy.

Article 14 (Governing law and jurisdiction)

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes relating to use of the Service are brought before the court with jurisdiction under the Korean Civil Procedure Act.

Addendum

These Terms take effect on 23 July 2026.
